About This Project

Brikday is a neo-brutalist productivity and habit tracker built with Expo SDK 57, React Native 0.86, and TypeScript 6. It features daily habit tracking (Engine), financial goal management (Vault), side-project planning (Blueprint), and advanced analytics with heatmaps and streak tracking. Powered by Legend State v3 with MMKV v4 for ultra-fast local-first persistence, the app uses a hybrid storage model — observable slices for master configuration and raw MMKV keys for date-partitioned daily logs. The design system features bold black borders, hard offset shadows, uppercase headings, deep haptic integration via react-native-pulsar, and custom press animations with pressto. Fully offline-capable with zero network dependencies.
